An atmospheric river system will continue to bring multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall to the area, with an additional 1.5 to 2.5 inches through Thursday night. Localized higher amounts are possible due to terrain effects. Overall the moderate to heavy rainfall is expected to last into the overnight hours with little break in between.
Montana Creek and Jordan Creek are expected to see minor flooding into Friday morning after these rounds of heavy rainfall. Other creeks and rivers in the Juneau area will still see rises through the night into Friday morning, however no flooding is anticipated for other streams at this time.
