At 335 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Fayetteville to 13 miles south of Godwin to Jerome to near Tolarsville. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Clinton, Harrells, Godwin, Hope Mills, Eastover, Roseboro, Stedman, Garland, and Wade.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 65 and 41. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 347 and 359.
