* WHERE...A portion of eastern North Carolina, including the following areas, Coastal Onslow, East Carteret, Hatteras Island, Inland Onslow, Jones, Mainland Dare, Mainland Hyde, Northern Outer Banks, Ocracoke Island, Pamlico, Southern Craven and West Carteret.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected along coastal North Carolina through Monday afternoon. 1 to 2 inches of rain is forecast in much of the watch area, with locally higher values possible where slow moving showers and thunderstorms linger. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
