At 720 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 24 miles southeast of Gordon, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Public report of quarter sized hail.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include... Speckel Meir Lake, Highway 61 crossing the Snake River, Round Lake, Hire, Morgan Lake, Billys Lake, Indian Hill, Intersection of Highway 61 and Shadbolt Road, Whitman Road crossing the North Branch of the Middle Loup River, Intersection of Highway 61 and Survey Valley Road, and Rock Hill.
This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 176 and 210.
