At 635 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line from 6 NM southeast of Sayler Barge to 6 NM west of Altamaha Sound, moving east at 10 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Buoy. At 552 PM, a wind gust to 37 knots was observed at the Grays Reef Buoy.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
