The National Weather Service in State College has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Union County in central Pennsylvania...

* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lewisburg, Mifflinburg, Winfield, Linntown, New Columbia, Allenwood, Vicksburg, Forest Hill, Sand Bridge State Park, Spruce Run Reservoir, R.B. Winter State Park, Laurelton Center, Weikert, West Milton, New Berlin, Hartleton and Bucknell.
