* WHAT...Temperatures of 85 to 95 degrees.

* WHERE...Catalina and Santa Barbara Islands, San Miguel and Santa Rosa Islands, and Santa Cruz and Anacapa Islands.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Tuesday to 8 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...There is a high risk for heat illness for sensitive populations including the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Humid conditions will add to the heat to potentially worsen heat impacts. Effects of the heat will build through the week, with warm overnight low temperatures providing little relief from the heat.
