* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Eddy County in southeastern New Mexico...
* Until 815 AM MDT.
* At 522 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Mesonet stations indicate that between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Carlsbad, Loving, Carlsbad North, Avalon, Brantley Lake State Park, Malaga, Seven Rivers Airport, Lake Avalon, Living Desert State Park, Otis, Cavern City Air Terminal, Lakewood, Dayton, Lea County Zip Franklin Memorial Airport, Loco Hills and Atoka.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
