For the Gale Watch, southwest winds 15 to 25 kt with a few gale force gusts up to 35 kt possible become west winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt by Tuesday; waves 1 to 4 ft possible.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 8 AM EDT /7 AM CDT/ this morning to 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening. For the Gale Watch, from Monday evening through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
