For the Gale Watch, south winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt becoming west winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt Tuesday afternoon; waves 4 to 7 ft possible.

* WHERE...Manitou Island to Point Isabelle MI, Point Isabelle to Lower Entrance of Portage Canal MI, Lower Entrance of Portage Canal To Huron Islands MI Including Keweenaw and Huron Bays and Huron Islands to Marquette MI.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 8 PM EDT this evening. For the Gale Watch, from Monday evening through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
