* At 1140 AM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts was located along a line extending from 26 nm east of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River to 49 nm east of Pilottown, moving northeast at 25 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
