The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Texas County in south central Missouri... Webster County in southwestern Missouri... Wright County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 1219 PM CDT, Emergency management reported flash flooding due to rainfall. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring across Webster County, including in Northview.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Marshfield, Mountain Grove, Rogersville, Cabool, Seymour, Mansfield, Fordland, Norwood, Hartville, Niangua, Diggins, Dawson, Duncan, Odin, Grovespring and Northview.

This includes the following low water crossings... Gasconade River at Highway E, Wolf Creek at Highway AB, Woods Fork Gasconade River at Rippee Ford Road, Whetstone Creek at Owens Road, James River at Bell Ford Road, Finley River at Highway Z and Baker Creek at Baker Creek Road.
