* Special Marine Warning for... S of Cape Lookout NC to Surf City NC out to 20 NM... Waters from Cape Lookout to Surf City NC from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 657 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 15 nm south of Ar345, or 18 nm west of Big Ten Fathom, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
