Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.
English River at Kalona affecting Washington and Johnson Counties.
.Based on recent flow data and updated forecast rainfall, the probability of the the lower Iowa River at Wapello and Oakville, and the English River at Kalona reaching flood stage has increased enough to issue flood warnings. Depending upon the overall amount of rainfall, the crest forecasts may end up being a bit lower.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...English River at Kalona.
* WHEN...From late tonight to Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water begins approaching several county roads. Agricultural land near the river is flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 9.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 16.9 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
