.Heavy to extreme rainfall across northern central Indiana since last week has produced minor to moderate flooding along most of the Wabash River basin from Wildcat Creek down to Riverton. The crest in moderate flood will continue to slowly cross Covington and Montezuma through Tuesday...with moderate flooding also expected at Terre Haute later this week. Elsewhere minor flooding will prevail with flooding starting at Vincennes Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...At 24.9 feet, On May 3, 2011 two homes in West Terre Haute area affected by seep water. River crested near 26.7 feet about 2 days before.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 PM EDT Monday /9:30 PM CDT Monday/ the stage was 22.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 PM EDT Monday /9:30 PM CDT Monday/ was 22.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.9 feet Thursday evening.
