At 636 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Charlotte County Airport to near Punta Gorda to 8 miles northwest of Palmona Park. Movement was west at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
