The Flood Advisory will expire at 330 PM EDT this afternoon for portions of east Tennessee, including the following areas, Carter, Johnson and Sullivan and southwest Virginia, including the following area and independent city, City of Bristol and Washington.
Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
