At 547 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near French River, or 12 nm north of Duluth Lift Bridge Channel, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail. A few power lines down on land associated with incoming storm.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include... Two Harbors Protected Access Agate Bay, Knife River Marina, Brule Point, McQuade Harbor, Larsmont, Duluth Harbor, Duluth Lift Bridge Channel, Stoney Point, French River, and Superior Entry.
