* WHAT...Hot temperatures of 100 to 110 degrees, possibly up to 115 degrees in the Klamath River Valley, are expected with low temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.

* WHERE...Rogue, Illinois, Applegate and Shasta Valleys.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A major risk of heat related illnesses is possible for the valleys on Wednesday as hot temperatures peak. This level of heat will impact anyone without cooling methods. Periods of smoke could limit the ability to open windows for cooler air at night.
