At 853 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the Cherry Creek drainage. Between 1.75 and 3 inches of rain fell. Flooding impacts will continue as runoff flows through Cherry Creek, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly through Cheery Creek.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
