At 259 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area over Vermilion county. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible over central and southern Vermilion county. At 257 pm, Vermilion county EMA reported vehicles stuck in high water in Belgium at Georgetown road and Lyons road and in Tilton at 14th street overpass under Georgetown road. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
