* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...South Central St. Louis County in northeastern Minnesota... Northwestern Douglas County in northwestern Wisconsin...
* WHEN...Until 1245 AM CDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 943 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Duluth, Superior, Hermantown, Proctor, Oliver, Wisconsin Point, City of Rice Lake, Irving, Park Point, Central Hillside, Denfeld, Billings Park, East Hillside, Chester Park, Spirit Valley, Piedmont Heights, Cody, Congdon Park, Duluth Heights and Kenwood. - Areas most likely to experience minor flooding are portions of Duluth along and below the hill.
