At 1256 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Garden State North Reef, moving southeast at 25 knots. This storm produced a 38 kt gust at High Bar Harbor near Barnegat Light at 1229 AM EDT.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Buoy.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include... Beach Haven, Barnegat Light, North Beach Haven, Garden State North Reef, Ship Bottom, Barnegat Light Reef, Garden State South Reef, Harvey Cedars, and Forked River.
