Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 7:17 p.m. MST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

This line of severe thunderstorms is spanning from Tumbler Ridge to 16 km southwest of Fellers Heights and is heading east at 25 km/h.

Locations that will be affected include: Tumbler Ridge Highway 52 north of Tumbler Ridge

Driving conditions will likely be difficult.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
