Orange Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 9:56 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, golf ball to tennis ball size hail and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: About 40 km west of Trilsbeck Lake

Motion: Moving quickly to the east at 80 km/h

Hazards: Wind: Damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: Loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm) Rain: Heavy (30 to 50 mm)

Locations in the Path: Pitukupi Lake, Trilsbeck Lake, Pledger Lake

Another thunderstorm is located over Albany River Provincial Park.

Motion: Moving quickly to the east at 80 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: golf ball to tennis ball size (4.5 to 6.9 cm) Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm)
