At 2:33 p.m. ADT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.
A cluster of severe thunderstorms currently moving ito the Northumberland Strait from the Miramichi region are moving towards the southeast at 50 km/h and will be reaching Prince County within the next hour.
Locations impacted include: Alberton, Pointe-Sapin, Cedar Dunes Provincial Park, St. Louis, O'Leary, Bloomfield Provincial Park, and Mill River Provincial Park.
Hazards: - 90 km/h wind gusts. - Dime sized hail. - Torrential rainfall.
