Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 3:15 p.m. ADT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.

A severe thunderstorm was located near Cape Wolfe, moving southeast at 50 km/h.

Locations impacted include: Summerside, Alberton, O'Leary, Cedar Dunes Provincial Park, Bloomfield Provincial Park, Mill River Provincial Park, Higgins Wharf Provincial Park, Abrams Village, Richmond, Tyne Valley, Green Provincial Park, Wellington, St. Nicholas, Union Corner Provincial Park, Belmont Provincial Park.

Hazards: - 90 km/h wind gusts. - Dime sized hail. - Torrential rainfall.
