Squall Warning In Effect

Squalls with wind gusts up to 45 knots, frequent lightning, waterspout activity, hail of 5 to 6 centimetres and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times are expected or occurring in the area.

Poor to very poor visibility may contribute to voyage delays and make marine navigation hazardous.

If conditions become favourable for the development of tornadoes, tornado watches or tornado warnings will be issued by Environment Canada.
