What: Moderate to strong gusty winds.

When: This evening.

Where: - Yellowhead (near West Twin Creek)

Additional information: A strong low pressure system approaching the B.C. coast is bringing a prolonged period of southeast winds this evening with gusts ranging from 60-80 km/h to the B.C. interior. Winds should ease overnight.

Another potentially strong storm is set to follow on Saturday evening.

Local utility outages are possible. Parks and forests may sustain damage. Secure loose objects.
