Locations: south coast of Newfoundland from Burgeo to the Burin Peninsula, and the southern Avalon Peninsula.

Maximum wind gusts: northeasterly 80 km/h, except 100 along parts of the coast.

Time span: Friday afternoon and evening.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
