Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing heavy rain.
A line of severe thunderstorms was located from 5 kilometres south of St. Joseph (Antigonish) to 8 kilometres west of Aspen to 4 kilometres west of Moser River, moving southeast at 45 km/h.
Hazards: - Pea to dime size hail. - Heavy rainfall of 10 to 15mm per hour.
Locations impacted include: Aspen, Glenelg, Lochiel Lake Provincial Park, East River St. Marys, Melrose, South Lochaber, West Lochaber, Lochaber, Goshen (Guysborough), North Lochaber, Country Harbour Lake, Cross Roads Country Harbour, Sherbrooke, Goldenville, Upper South River.
