Yellow Watch - Severe Thunderstorm

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing heavy rain.

A line of severe thunderstorms was located from near Kenzieville to 7 kilometres southeast of Sunny Brae to 17 kilometres northwest of Lochaber Mines, moving southeast at 40 km/h.

Hazards: - Pea to dime size hail. - Heavy rainfall of 10 to 15mm per hour.

Locations impacted include: Sunny Brae, Caledonia (Guysborough), Eden Lake, Blue Mountain (Pictou), East River St. Marys, Kenzieville, Lochiel Lake Provincial Park, Glenelg, South Lochaber, Aspen, Beaver Mountain Provincial Park, West Lochaber, Melrose, Avondale (Pictou), Lochaber.
