Details

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. There is also a risk of a tornado.
What: Wind gusts up to 110 km/h Loonie to ping pong ball sized hail Heavy rainfall up to 50 mm
When: Beginning this afternoon and continuing into this evening.
Additional information: Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop ahead of and along a cold front this afternoon and will possibly continue into this evening. There is also the risk of tornadoes with these storms this afternoon.
