At 6:03 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: Bobcaygeon to Peterborough.

Motion: Moving quickly to the east at 80 km/h

Hazards: Wind: damaging (Up to 100 km/h) The strongest winds may be ahead of the line of thunderstorms. Rain: heavy (Up to 30 mm)

Locations in the Path: Omemee, Curve Lake, Peterborough, Lakefield, Cobourg, Campbellford, Marmora, Colborne, Quinte West, Belleville
