A two day heat event begins today.

What: Maximum temperatures of 29 to 31 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees Celsius. Humidex values of 36.

When: Today and Tuesday, possibly into Wednesday.

Additional Information: Maximum temperatures of 29 to 31 degrees Celsius with humidex value near 36 is expected today and tomorrow. The hot conditions may continue into Wednesday, depending on the timing of the passage of cold front.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
