The first fall storm of the season is approaching BC's North and Central coasts, and West Vancouver Island. Heavy rain is expected today between Klemtu and Kitimat, and along West Vancouver Island which could lead to sudden rises in stream levels, enhanced potential for landslides, and localized water-pooling or flooding, especially in areas impacted by summer drought.
Exposed coastal regions could also see some strong southerly wind gusts, peaking on tonight and diminishing on Wednesday morning.
