Orange Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 5:25 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of dangerous thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and extremely heavy rain.

Travel delays and/or cancellations are likely. Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Utility outages are likely. Heavy rain will likely cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
