Details

Severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall expected across portions of eastern Saskatchewan on Sunday into Monday.
A potent upper level disturbance will result in severe thunderstorm development over southeastern Saskatchewan by Sunday morning which will continue into the afternoon and evening hours as it grows in coverage.
Heavy rainfall is likely with this system, with high confidence of widespread accumulations of 30 to 50 mm. Localized higher accumulations of 50 to 100 mm are likely in any areas that see repeated thunderstorms.
Rainfall will taper off through the day Monday as the system moves off into Manitoba. Rainfall warnings may be required as the event nears and confidence in thunderstorm coverage and area increases.
