Heavy rain is expected.

Where: West Vancouver Island.

When: From late this morning to Tuesday morning.

Remarks: A robust frontal system will gradually move across Vancouver Island today, with heavy rain beginning late this morning. Rainfall amounts of 100 mm are expected. This frontal system will also bring strong and gusty westerly winds tonight.

The heavy rain will ease on Tuesday morning.
