Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing heavy rain.
Locations: Churchill Falls and vicinity and Churchill Valley.
Potential rainfall rates: locally 25 to 35 mm per hour in thunderstorms.
Time span: this evening until midnight.
Remarks: An area of thunderstorms just east of Labrador City and Wabush is moving eastwards at 60 km/hr. These storms have the potential for localized heavy rainfall and flooding.
