Details

Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Location: Southern Saskatchewan
Timing: Overnight.
Hazards:
- 3 to 4 cm hail. - 30 to 50 mm rainfall, locally. - 110 km/h wind gusts.
Remarks: A cluster of thunderstorms moving through southwestern Saskatchewan will continue to progress east across the province overnight. Some of these thunderstorms may be severe.

Utility outages are possible. Significant damage to property, buildings and trees is possible.
Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles. Large hail can cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
