Special Weather Statement In Effect

Heavy rain will continue tonight between Bella Bella and Kitimat, and along North Vancouver Island, which could lead to sudden rises in stream levels, enhanced potential for landslides, and localized water-pooling or flooding, especially in areas impacted by summer drought.

Exposed coastal regions could also see some strong southerly wind gusts, gradually diminishing tonight.
