At 9:04 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.
These storms are 70 kilometres southeast of Grande Prairie, 90 kilometers northeast of Grande Cache, and extend from Highway 734 to about 25 kilometre east of that highway.
These storms are nearly stationary.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
