Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 1:20 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

A cluster of severe thunderstorms is located over southwestern sections of Bowron Lakes Circuit is moving northward at 45 km/h.

Areas that are impacted in the next hour include: - western sections of the circuit.

Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
