Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 1:26 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

A severe thunderstorm is located 25km southeast of Prince George and is moving to the north at 40 km/h.

The following locations will be affected by this thunderstorm: - Giscome - Willow River - Aleza Lake

Driving conditions will likely be difficult.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
