Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 4:56 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

The thunderstorm is located east of Alma and Saint-Bruno and is moving very slowly southward, producing heavy rainfall. Small hail has also been reported.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
