Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 5:37 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and very heavy rain.

The thunderstorm is located near and south of Lac-Kénogami and is moving slowly southeastward, causing significant rainfall.

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
