At 5:53 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain.

Thunderstorm Location: From Haliburton to Lake of Two Rivers.

Motion: Moving quickly to the east at 70 km/h

Hazards: Wind: strong (Up to 90 km/h) Rain: heavy (Up to 30 mm)

Locations in the Path: Lake St. Peter, Maynooth, Madawaska

Local utility outages are likely. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. There is a risk of injury.
