Yellow Warning - Wind

Strong wind gusts are expected.

What: Strong westerly to northwesterly winds gusting up to 100 km/h.

When: Late this afternoon through Sunday.

Additional information: A low pressure system tracking across Hudson Bay will bring strong wind gusts to the region. Southwesterly winds will gradually strengthen from west to east beginning this afternoon. The winds will then shift to westerly and northwesterly, with the peak winds expected overnight through Sunday morning. Winds will begin to diminish Sunday afternoon.
