Yellow Warning - Severe Thunderstorm

At 3:49 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain.

The thunderstorm is located near Rapide-Sept and is moving northeast at 50 kilometres per hour.

Local utility outages are likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
